Kang Dong was born in Kangding，Sichuan in 1926. He served as a graphic designer of the magazine People’s Soldier and Deputy Directorof the Art Design Team of the magazine PLA Pictorial. His representative works include Yak Transport Team，Solicitude，Great Friendship，etc.
